We’re here to help you with some useful step-by-step tips and tricks for quickly putting on your socks and get to your day.
First, it is important that the stockings are sized correctly.
If you choose large-sized compression socks, then they will not provide adequate compression to be therapeutic. If you choose small-sized compression socks, then they will be hard to put on, uncomfortable to wear, and potentially cause more harm than good.
GET COMFY ON THE FLOOR
To put on compression socks comfortably, you need a little extra leverage for pulling on your socks; so try to get in a comfortable spot on the floor where you have some wiggle room. Further, you can put them on by sitting on a comfortable chair or you can sit on the edge of your bed. You just have to give yourself enough space to move freely.
PUT YOUR ARM IN THE SOCK
Once, you sit comfortably, turn the upper half of the socks inside out and use your one hand to reach into the compression sock and grab the toe of the sock. Then use your second hand to turn the upper half of the compression sock inside out (your arm will go all the way in until your palm is on the heel of the sock.)
